Little Katie by Sew Me Something dressmaking patterns Little Bea and Leggings by Sew Me Something dressmaking patterns Viola Skirt by Sew Me Something dressmaking patterns
The Little Katie is a smaller version of the popular women's Kate Dress, but with the added extra detail of front placket and frill. Bound patch pockets and little puffed sleeves or longer sleeved version. The Little Bea is a smaller but perfectly formed version of Sew me Something's popular Beatrice Pinafore. The contrast binding is still there as well as the pretty cross-over back, but it has one large 'kangaroo' style pocket on the front instead of two.

Viola is a gently flared A line shape with a separate curved waistband that has a contrast piping through the seam. The skirt lining extends below the main skirt and has a faced hem.

Kate Dress by Sew Me Something dressmaking patterns Portia Trousers by Sew Me Something dressmaking patterns
Kate is a very versatile shift dress. It has bust darts and a slightly curved side seam to give shape. Bias binding neatens the neckline, pockets and the sleeves on Versions 1 and 3. Katherine Hepburn would have loved these trousers with their ever-so-slightly masculine style. They sit just below the natural waist and hang straight down from the hip. Worn long and sassy, they have angled jeans style front pockets and back patch pockets to give them a more modern feel.
